Pendragon Cottage is made from solid stone and has been converted from a 160 year old listed barn conversation on a non-working farm overlooking Bodmin Moor and the many moorland churches and also St. Breock Hills. It is in a quiet spot for touring all the North Cornish Coast. It has been converted to a high standard and has every comfort including a luxury bed, which will be made up for the tenants arrival. The beaches of Polzeath 2 miles (surfing and safebathing) Daymer Bay (Windsurfing) and Rock (sailing, fishing ferry to PADSTOW) are within 1.5 mileand Port Quin and Port Isaac within 5 miles. It is an area with an abundance of high quality eateries all adding to a wonderful surfing, beach, walking, golfing or just sitting and looking at the panoramic view holiday. Eden Project half hours drive and Padstow 1 hours walk or halfhours drive away (Rick Steins Restaurant and Bistro). The famous Camel Cycle Trail 4 miles. Close to Roserrow Golf and Country Club with swimming pool, sauna and beauty treatments and also meals and golf. St. Enodoc golf course is nearby. Polzeath Beach is a lifeguard controlled blue flag safe beach with wide stretch of sand fringed with 2 magnificent headlands Pentire Point and Stepper. Poet John Betjemen lived and wrote poetry about the area. Polzeath is the jewel in the crown of the North Cornish Coast. For walkers a dream for wildlife spotting/ birdwatching. The grounds of Pendragon open on to a nature reserve. In the distance the many churches of Bodmin Moor can be seen from the bedroom. There is seating in the front garden. Had a lovely time in PENDRAGON COTTAGE thank you for everything. It was great our little boy could have surfing lessons at Polzeath beach Mrs. E. Jenkins London. Lovely cottage area and setting very clean Mr. &Mrs Morton Bournemouth.
This 1 bed cottage offers 1 double bedroom and downstairs in the lounge, 2 x 3 foot single tempur foam mattresses which can be used as singles or put together to make a double in the lounge. Or, one mattress can be taken upstairs for a child to use if he/she sleeps with parents. Open-plan, fitted kitchen, lounge/dinette, bathroom with large shower cabinet.(No bath)
Free parking at Polzeath beach at all times in front of owner's house. Parking for 2 cars at the cottage. We are open all year round and have special rates for Christmas and New Year. The owners clean the property themselves and are nearby. In the grounds of the cottage there is a nature reserve planted out with lots of trees. ORGANIC Wine cheese fruit vegetables meat can be ordered and delivered on Tuesdays. Bedlinen included in price and beds made up. Towel hire £10 per person. |

Polzeath is a small seaside resort in north Cornwall, England. It is not far from Daymer Bay, Rock, and the Camel Valley and is one of over 250 towns and villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. Nearby cities include Truro, Plymouth and Exeter.
Polzeath has a very large sandy beach (over 460m in width) and is very popular with surfers.
The beach is watched over by lifeguards during the summer months and boasts good surfing conditions.
Among other highlights are the wildlife which can be seen around here including dolphins and a variety of birds such as puffins. There are also several shops, cafes, restaurants and various places to stay including a caravan site.
